Opponent: Capilano College Blues (CAP)

Location: Capilano College Blues, North Vancouver

Men’s Volleyball Head Coach, Greg Poitras:

This was a very even battle between 2 top teams. Capilano ended up winning the match 15-13 after UBCO missed their serve to possibly tie the match up at 14's. This was a below than average night for us on defense. We could not contain Capilano's main hitters. Luke England led the Lakers with 19 points. (7 kills, 10 stuff blocks, 1 ace); Cundy added 13 kills and Campbell 10 kills.

This was a very similar match to the previous night except that Douglas handed the match to us. We did not play our best volleyball. We were outworked and out scored. Riley McFarland and Luke Enland kept us in the match with 20 and 14 kills respectively; Cundy added 12 kills. We matched our previous night’s performance with very few blocks as a team and allowed their hitter to walk all over us.
