Box Score

Men’s Volleyball Coach Greg Poitras:

This was an important match for us we need to start controlling teams that are near us in the standings. I made a few changes and was pleasantly refreshed with what these boys accomplished. Camosun typically beats teams by playing steady and not making many errors. We dominated the Chargers at the net and effectively ran our transition much more smoothly than in the past. Riley McFarland rebounded from a tough week at practice and scored 15 points (10 kills, 4 aces, 1 block). The Camosun could do nothing to stop him. Kyle Westgate contributed 11 points (7 kills, 4 stuff blocks). Kyle is continuing to improve on his presence at the net. Tonight’s result was a great finish to the first semester. We have a list of things to accomplish over the break. We will be training to become physically more competitive. We also have some fine tuning to do.
