Friday, January 18, 2008 Okanagan Lakers vs. Langara Falcons:

Women’s Basketball Head Coach Heather Semeniuk:

This was a very disappointing loss as we really controlled the game for the first three quarters. Defense was very solid on Carling Muir, the league scoring leader. Our confidence and intensity faltered as the Falcons narrowed the lead to five in the early minutes of the 4th quarter.

Women’s Bball Student-Athlete Meghan McGill:

This was a tough loss for us. After three quarters of solid play, we came up short in the fourth quarter. We played tentative in the end and it lost us the game. Any loss is hard, especially at this point in the season, but we have taken an important lesson from this game that we can carry throughout the last half of our season.
