Claire Paterson, Head CoachE-mail: claire.paterson@ubc.ca The 2011 season marks Claire’s fourth year as Head Coach of the Heat women's soccer program. In her third season at the helm of the Heat she lead the program to an undefeated regular season record 10 wins – 2 ties in which the team captured the programs first CCAA national ranking (2nd) and BCCAA Provincial medal (Bronze). For the second year in a row Claire was recognized as BCCAA Women’s Soccer Coach of the Year and she was announced the 2010 Canadian Colleges Athletic Association Women’s Soccer National Coach of the Year. |

Born in Scotland and raised in Prince George, she has a bachelor’s degree in both physical education and education, and has her master’s degree in coaching from the University of Alberta. Claire also is a certified CSA National B License, SFA Club Coach Certificate, NCCP Level 4/5 certificate and holds a Charter Professional Coach designation from the Coaches Association of Canada. Her coaching includes five years as head coach of the women’s team at The King’s University College in Alberta, three years as a National Training Centre-Prairies coach and six years as the Alberta Soccer Association’s Provincial Team coach. After moving back to BC in 2007 she remained involved in youth player development working with the Okanagan Super Y league program and in 2008 she travelled with the U13 BCSA Provincial Team to Germany as the assistant coach. Currently she works for the Whitecaps FC as an instructor at their Vernon High school Soccer Academy & Jr. Academy as well as for NOYSA as a part of their Technical Staff. Claire also coaches the Okanagan FC Women's Premiere PCSL Her career highlights: • 2011 Participated in CSA “A” License Part 1 |

Jeannette Paine, Assistant CoachEmail: painer_222@hotmail.com Jeannette, a Kelowna native, played 4 years in the NCAA for the Fresno State Bulldogs. Her experience as a high level goalkeeper will allow for even further specialized training of our GKs. UBC Okanagan is excited to have a former player of Jeannette's caliber join the Heat staff. |

Ashlee Davison, Assistant CoachEmail: ashleedavison@gmail.com This is Ashlee's fourth year as an assistant coach with the UBC Heat Women's soccer team. Prior to working with the Heat, Ashlee played and helped coach the women's PCSL squad. Before getting into coaching, Ashlee played 5 years in the CIS for Trinity Western University. Ashlee has a BA (TWU) and a BEd (UBC) as well as NCCP 1 and 2. |
