Douglas received their first opportunity to get on the score board when one of their players was awarded a PK at the 66 min mark. UBC O struggled to respond to going down a goal and Douglas broke through the UBC O defense and capitalized on two break aways in the 74 and 78 minutes.

Player of the Game: Ashley Pereira.

Quote from Coach Claire Paterson "This was a disappointing game today. We failed to take care of business and keep our play off hopes alive. We really needed to come away with the win today in order to control our own destiny. As a team we need to come out and demonstrate how much we want to win matches by how hard we work on the field for the full 90 minutes. I expect that we will put a better performance together for tomorrow’s match against league leaders Langara College."
