Lakers Victory Gives Them a Chance at Bronze

UBC-O rallied back after losing the first set to win the next three sets and earn a spot in the bronze medal game. The enthusiasm displayed on the sideline by coach of the year Steve Manuel appeared to energize his team and keep them pressing for the win.

Player of the game for the UBC-O Lakers was # 10 Rebecca Warnes who posted 16 kills, 2 service aces, and 11 digs.

Player of the game for the RDC Queens was # 8 Brittany Whitwell who posted 17 kills and 15 digs.
