Support Material for Graduate Students

IGS MFA Support Material

1. Portfolio of recent work or of work relevant to thesis proposal (last 5 years)

Acceptable Formats:

• Visual and installation based work provide 15 - 20 images electronic only (jpeg or tiff 8 x 10in at 200dpi max.) for
• Video/film based work provide DVD, VHS or Audio CD recordings for performance documentation and (completed works only no demo reels).
• Creative writing provide 30 pages of published or unpublished work in two genres - photocopies, published material or manuscript format are acceptable (provide bibliographical information where applicable)

2. Artist/Performer CV, Filmography and/or List of publications and writing related accomplishments (Please include participation in or collaboration on any interdisciplinary projects.)

3. Published Reviews (optional)

4. Artistic Statement - A brief description of your research interests in relationship to contemporary art, performance and/or literary practice with reference to artists/writers that have influenced your work. (2 page max. Highlight your interdisciplinary interests where applicable.)
