Upper Level Courses

• Cultural Studies, French, and Spanish

Courses offered in the 2009-2010 winter session (2009 W) that can be used to fulfill the Language and Culture requirement:

Students of the major in French, the major in Spanish or the major in French and Spanish are required to complete 6 credits of approved language or culture-related courses outside of the discipline of the major.  These courses are normally at the 300 or 400 level. These credits can be included in the 18 upper-level credits outside the area of the Major required for the B.A. degree.

For the major in French and Spanish, the discipline of the major is considered to be both languages, thus a student of the major in French and Spanish must complete this requirement outside of these two languages.

*Credit cannot be given for both ENGL 379 and CULT 340.
