What's after WebCT Vista?

As you may already know, the Learning Technology Advisory Council (LTAC) is working on a project that will significantly shape the future of UBC's learning environments - the selection of a new Learning Management System (LMS). Our current system, WebCT Vista (Blackboard Vista), is used in more than 4,000 course sections, and by over 53,000 students. The Vista product line is being phased out in 2013, so we're starting early!

We are part way through an extensive process to choose our new system, and we need your help. We invite all interested members of the UBC teaching and learning community to participate in our evaluation for the two shortlisted products - Blackboard Learn 9.1 and Moodle 2.0 - through product demos and hands-on sessions.

Product Demos: February 8 - 10, 2011
The vendors of both shortlisted products will be providing demonstrations to UBC Okanagan via web conference. Come to a central location on campus to watch the web conference or contact eLearning staff to get the conference recording details.
