Dr. Karen Ragoonaden is an assistant professor at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. She has lived, studied and worked in Canada, Europe and Africa. Her research interests lie in the area of Second Language Acquisition (FSL & ESL) Intercultural Communication, Culture, Diversity and On-line Collaborative Learning.  

Karen Ragoonaden est professeure-adjointe à la University of British Colombia Okanagan. Elle a vécu et a travaillé en Afrique, en Europe et au Canada. Ses domaines de recherche sont axés sur l'acquisition d'une langue seconde (FLS & ALS),  la communication interculturelle, la culture, la diversité, l'apprentissage collaboratif et la formation à distance.
