STEP Middle School Education
The Middle School cohort prepares students in foundational, integrated methods and philosophy unique to middle school teaching and learning. Students engage in collaborative, project-based investigations organized around major themes currently affecting middle schools. Based on the social, academic and developmental needs unique to early adolescents, current topics include: ecology-centered learning, mobile technology in schools, team teaching, resource assessment, community leadership and experiential education.
