How to Apply

Applications are submitted electronically. Applicants who satisfy all admission requirements by the end of the regular winter semester (January-April) are given preference.

Former and current UBC students may submit an application for admission to either the Elementary or Secondary Teacher Education Programs through the Student Service Centre (SSC).  Select "Registration" and then "Change of Degree Program/Campus". Students may apply online beginning September.

Non-UBC students may submit an application for admission to the either the Elementary or Secondary Teacher Education Programs through UBC Admissions, Select "Okanagan' and then "Apply to UBC". Students may apply online beginning September.

Applicants are required to submit an official interim transcript indicating courses completed to December 2011 and course enrollment (if any) for the Winter 2012 semester not later than the interim document deadline of February 28, 2012 to Undergraduate Admissions.

A final official transcript must be submitted to Undergraduate Admissions as soon as possible following the reporting of final grades for Winter 2012 courses and not later than the final document deadline of May 31, 2012. Where an applicant has completed coursework at more than one post-secondary institution, an official transcript from each institution will be required. Official transcripts must be sent directly from the post-secondary institution(s) attended to Undergraduate Admissions. Failure to submit transcripts as requested will delay assessment of your application for admission.
