The Earth and Environmental Science Course Union at UBC Okanagan is a student run group that brings together students enrolled or interested in aspects of Earth Sciences.  The union regularly holds fundraisers to assist with the cost of events such as the geology conference "Round Up" held annually in Vancouver.  Other social events are also held throughout the year, including: EESc Bowling night, EESc Photo Competition and the Nakusp Geothermal camping trip which takes place annually in November at Half Way Hot-springs.

The Academic Resource Centre also offers EESc and Geography tutoring by members of the course union in room Fipke 134.  The hours for tutoring can be found posted outside Fip 134 or on the ARC website.  Also located outside of Fipke 134 is the EESc Course Union Poster Board which provides information for upcoming and current events.

Overall the Union is a great group of students who come together during and outside of class time for social, educational and networking events.  We are also open to suggestions for improvement within the union and are always looking for new members.  If you would like to join the EESc Course Union or have any questions, please email eesc.cu@gmail.com
