Do I need to register for thesis in summer?
Yes, registering in thesis in summer provides you with access to the University resources on campus as a registered students. Thesis registration must be continuous until you graduate unless you go on a leave of absence.
Do I need to register for seminar every term?
You need to register for seminar each Winter 1 and Winter 2 term that it is offered. You must also attend the seminars. You will present one (M.A.Sc.) or two (Ph.D.) seminars as part for the degree requirements.
Do I need to pay me fees?
All students must pay their fees. The Ph.D. tuition fellowship does not cover the fees portion.
How do I select my courses?
Course selection is done under the guidance of the research supervisor. So speak to your supervisor for course selection advice.
How do I renew my study permit?
The International Students Service Office can explain how to renew your student study permit.
How do I get a confirmation of enrollment?
You can get a confirmation of enrollment from Student Services.
