Facilities

SOEbuildingTo support the growth of the UBC School of Engineering, a $68 million building has been built for the students, faculty, and staff. This 14,500 square-metre Engineering-Management-Education Complex is now open. The state-of-the-art facility houses undergraduate laboratories for civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering courses and numerous research laboratories for robotics, structures, electronics, water treatment, lasers, and mechatronics, to name only a few. The integrated design for the complex accentuates the multidisciplinary and interactive nature of the UBC School of Engineering.

Many research and teaching accomplishments for our School of Engineering have been the focus of news articles. These accomplishments are showcased in UBC News Archives and Newsletters.
