UBC Okanagan Finance is pleased to offer SMART FORMS TRAINING. Smart Forms are web-based requisition forms that serve to replace paper-based requisition forms (Q-Requisitions and Travel Requisitions).
This course will assist those employees whose departments are interested in understanding:

The life cycle of a Smart Form is as follows:
1. Requisition details are entered electronically into a Smart Form and saved.
2. The completed Smart Form is printed.
3. Appropriate signatures are obtained.
4. All required documentation is attached to the Smart Form.
5. Paper copy of Smart Form and relevant documentation are sent to UBCO Finance for review.
6. Once the review is complete, the Smart Form is uploaded directly to PeopleSoft FMS by Finance and payment is generated.
To access Smart Forms at your workstation, you must complete the Smart Forms training course and you must have access to FMS nQuery. If you would like to apply for access to FMS nQuery, please use the following link: http://www.finance.ubc.ca/webaccess.cfm. Access to FMS nQuery is not required for the training course.
