Graduate studies in Environmental Sciences at UBC Okanagan are interdisciplinary in nature, and designed to address the global need for environmental scientists and professionals. Graduates will develop a thorough theoretical and conceptual background and the necessary skills required to conduct independent environmental research.
Applicants to the M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences must have a four-year (or equivalent) undergraduate degree in environmental science or cognate discipline. Admission to the Ph.D. program will normally require a M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences or cognate discipline. In special circumstances, students who demonstrate exceptional research ability may apply directly to the Ph.D. program upon completion of a B.Sc. (Honours). Students are also required to meet the minimum standards for admission to graduate studies at UBC Okanagan.
