Graduate Entrance Scholarships (GES)
Graduate Entrance Scholarships are offered to the brightest and best incoming full-time master's and doctoral students at UBC Okanagan. Students who have submitted a complete admission by January 31st annually are automatically considered for funding.
Eligibility Criteria
- Incoming full-time graduate student who has submitted an admission application by the annual deadline.
- No separate application is required.
Award Criteria
Admission applications are reviewed by Awards Committees and funds are awarded based on:
- previous academic performance (eg. previous grades and awards).
- prior academic output (eg. papers, presentations, conferences, patents).
Award Amounts
The award amounts vary annually subject to available funding.
Deferral of Awards
Graduate Entrance Scholarships cannot be deferred to the following academic year.
