The Healthy Workplace Initiatives Program fund is available to UBC departments, units and operational committees to support healthy workplace initiatives and share examples of good practice.
The fund is part of the Focus on People Framework strategy #1 "To develop a sustainable, healthy workplace." The previous recipients have included 28 different campus groups.
This competition typically funds applications totaling less than $5,000. Applications in excess of this amount are considered if highly adherent to the criteria.
For more information including an application form and criteria/guidlines visit the Healthy Workplace Initiative Program Fund website.

There is $100,000 available for the Healthy Workplace Initiatives Program Fund (HWIP) in 2012. The next round of applications are due April 13, 2012 at 4:30 pm.
A workshop to help departments/units successfully apply will be held on Monday, March 26 from 12 noon to 1:00 pm in the HR Boardroom ADM009A. Registration is requested.
What is HWIP? How are you going to make your application come out on top? What kind of applications are going to be successful? How can you address certain needs within your unit/department? What is a multidisciplinary committee, and what would happen if you received funding in this way?
This interactive, practical workshop will be one hour dedicated to helping you get your piece of the HWIP Pie. See events calendar for date/time.
