This new awards program was launched in 2008 and designed to celebrate outstanding contributions instrumental in helping UBC Okanagan achieve its strategic imperatives.
All regular permanent UBC Okanagan staff with a minimum of two years continuous service are eligible.
Any UBC Okanagan staff, faculty or student can nominate eligible UBC Okanagan staff members.
There are four categories of awards:

Winners will be announced at the August 30th Staff and Faculty BBQ, and will receive $2000.
There can be up to 4 winners per year.
By June 30, 2012
The Committee on the UBC Okanagan Staff Awards of Excellence is made up of representatives from administration, faculty, M&P, union staff, and students. This Committee will administer, receive, evaluate and recommend the winners for each year.

This award recognizes staff who have made an exceptional contribution to the Okanagan campus and community at large. If you know someone who has been with UBC Okanagan for at least 3 years (continuous service) whose efforts on behalf of UBC Okanagan has been of distinctive benefit to our community and the community at large, download the nomination form and put their name forward!
