Targets for Investment

There are two targets for investment which provide assistance to the Institute for Healthy Living and Chronic Disease Prevention.

Gifts for Research Projects: provide start up or continuing support for research to develop new approaches to reduce the impact of major preventable chronic diseases and promote health in ways that benefit individuals, families and communities.  Gifts can also support the involvement of students in research activities to provide valuable "hands on" interdisciplinary research training for the the next generation of health researchers.

Gifts for Institute Infrastructure: help to support collaborative activities with community partners to undertake research, dissemination of new research results, and the purchase of equipment to conduct research.  Gifts can also help attract new researchers to the Institute, support a speaker series, or educational programs for the community on health research-related topics.
