Conference Call Procedures

Using Your Office Phone

  1. Call first party
    If local number dial 8+XXX-XXXX
  2. When first party answers press button listed for your set type to place caller on hold
    Aastra  9916 - Flash
    Mitel Superset 4001 - Flash
    Mitel Superset 4015 - Trans/Conf
    Mitel Superset 4150 - Trans/Conf
    Mitel Superset 4025 - Trans/Conf
    Mitel 5212 IP - Phone Button - Conference Call
    Mitel 5330 IP - Phone Button - Conference Call
    Mitel 5340 IP - Phone Button - Conference Call
    Superset 2 - Trans/Conf
    Superset 4 - Trans/Conf
    Teledex BTX4510 - Flash
    Teledex BTX4550 - Flash
  3. Call second party
    If long distance number dial *3 + your 5 or 6 digit LD PIN number + # followed by 8 + 1 + area code + the number
    (*3 XXXXXX # 8 1 XXX XXX XXXX)
  4. When second party answers press FLASH button to place caller on hold
  5. Call third party (following dialing instructions for local or long distance dialing)
  6. When third party answers press FLASH button to place caller on hold
  7. Press *4 to join all parties together

Additional Information

  • Can be a total of 8 parties including yourself so you can call 7 parties
  • Cannot conference incoming calls.   You must call all parties.

Using a Wireless Conference Phone

  1. Plug in to AC only
  2. Wait for phone to initialize until you see Conf Unit off and the local number on the display
  3. Press button next to Conf Unit (Off)
  4. Press button next to Turn On to use speaker or pick up handset
  5. Dial 1st number
  6. Press  Phone Button - Conference Call which places 1st called number on hold and provides dial tone to call 2nd number
  7. Dial 2nd number
  8. Press Phone Button - Conference Call which shows how many parties are on the conference and ties the three of you together
  9. * Press Phone Button - Conference Call again to get dial tone to call 3rd number
  10. Dial 3rd number
  11. Press Phone Button - Conference Call which shows how many parties are on the conference and ties the four of you together
  12. Continue from * for a maximum of 8 parties including yourself

Additional Information

  • Can be a total of 8 parties including yourself so you can call 7 parties
  • Presentation mode locks microphone to speaker
