The Learning Commons space is located on the main floor of UBC's Okanagan campus Library. In the Learning Commons we have computers, service desk, and workshops to help you achieve success. The Learning Commons is open whenever the library is open.
There are 103 personal computers, and nine macs, equipped with research and productivity software. Laptops and Netbooks are also available for borrowing at the Circulation Desk in the library.
Ask your questions at the Information Desk. Okanagan campus librarians offer personalized research help at the desk. The Workshops in the Library series offers workshops to improve academic skills. Most of them are held in the Learning Lab (L111).
Need more help? Ask a Librarian for a Research Consultation appointment.
A lab monitor is available at the Information Desk to help with computers & printing. Further tech support inquiries can be directed to IT, Media & Classroom Services at UBC's Okanagan campus.
The Learning Lab is located in Room LIB111. It contains 26 student-use computers, plus an instructor's workstation connected to a ceiling-mounted projector. This room is open for student use except when in use for academic skills workshops.
