Co-operative Education Program

There is no better way to learn about business and management than through experiential learning. And the best form of experiential learning is through our co-operative education option. Taken after completion of the third year of the degree program (i.e. at the conclusion of your third year foundation courses), students have the option of working in an organization for up to 12 months.

CA, CGA and CMA accounting-focused students will begin their co-op experience after completing the first term in their fourth year.  Students will be required to complete an eight-month co-op experience.

A co-op work term is paid employment with attractive salaries that can help reduce or even eliminate student debt. More importantly, our employer pre-screening process ensures that the work experience is truly meaningful and adds significant value to the formal classroom education. Students completing the co-op program tend to excel in their final year of the degree program and achieve permanent employment in a shorter period of time than those without work experience.
