The Specialization Term

Building upon the Foundation Year, students in this term have the opportunity to explore, to a greater depth, specific disciplines of interest that best match their career aspirations. Normally students in this term will take a five course load, but there is no specific restriction. The specific courses in each management discipline will vary from year to year based on student demand and faculty interests but the following are some examples of courses that are likely to be offered on a consistent basis:

In addition, the Faculty of Management ensures that the curriculum is current and relevant by introducing “topics” courses as key management challenges and issues arise. Students are strongly encouraged to choose courses from more than one discipline group in keeping with the general management theme that is a cornerstone of the degree program.
