Research Orientation Day (ROD) is an event directed at introducing new faculty to the processes and procedures for initiating their research successfully at UBC Okanagan. The Office of Research Services hosts ROD each year in August, for new faculty with start dates beginning September of the previous year to July of that year. Representatives from several different offices on campus guide new faculty through the areas they need to be familiar with in order to initiate their research successfully.
