Project on Adolescent Trajectories and Health

Welcome to the PATH website. PATH is the Project on Adolescent Trajectories and Health. This 3 year longitudinal research study investigates adolescent risk taking behaviours and health outcomes. Our approach is unique in that it explores the social and cognitive roots of behaviour that put adolescents at risk.

This project, funded by SSHRC and CIHR, brings together an impressive team of researchers with a variety of experience and expertise in many areas of adolescent risk behaviours. The team includes Dr. Marvin Krank (Okanagan University College), Dr. Daniel Lai (University of Calgary), Dr. Anne-Marie Wall (York University), Dr. Christine Wekerle (University of Western Ontario) and Dr. Alan Stacy (University of Southern California) among many local community partners with practical experience in education, health and social services.

Please feel free to browse our site. You will find a great deal of interesting information on adolescent behaviour. We have also included some resource material that may help you prevent some of the high risk things that teens do.

This site dedicated to the memory of our beloved colleague, Anne-Marie Wall.  Valued collaborator and cherished friend, this project would not have been possible without her.
