General Background

Prior to joining this program in 1992, Laurie taught in the Human Services Worker Program and the Division of Continuing Education of OUC and accumulated eighteen years of practice experience with families, youth and children in both hospital and community-based agency settings. She offered a variety of presentations on themes related to relationships, grief, and mental health and maintained a private practice for many years. While her work predominantly involved counselling, Laurie was also involved in program development, consultation and supervision.
