Although UBC's Okanagan campus is a relatively small campus, we are growing by leaps and bounds each year. In 2011, UBC's Okanagan campus welcomed its largest entering class- over 2000 new to UBC students. Student safety and comfort are fundamental priorities for our community. Safewalk Student Patrollers will take a proactive position to support students, staff, and faculty on campus by completing rounds of campus throughout their shift. Students, staff, and faculty will be able to request a Safewalk from the Safewalk Student Patrollers anytime Safewalk is open, 6 to late nightly, in order to have accompaniment while walking across campus to classes, the library, the University Centre, to their cars, to the bus loop, or back to Residence.

Drop in visits 
Working alone in an office or a lab late at night? Just let us know and we can schedule regular visits. These visits can be at any interval, say every 45 minutes or every hour - whatever works best for you!
Safewalks
Call anytime 6pm til late nightly for a co-ed pair of students to walk you to your car, to the bus stop, to your class, to the library, or anywhere on campus!
Scheduled and regular walks
Register online or call us to set up a regular accompanied walk for you across campus, such as after your class ends to the bus stop or after your on-campus work shift ends back to residence. We are here to help you!
Spur-of-the-moment walks
Safewalk student patrollers are walking around campus between 6pm and midnight daily. Feel free to flag them down for a spur-of-the-moment walk!
