Sabrina Tikhomiroff, a second-year management student in the Work Learn program, says her work experience as a peer mentor was life changing.

Sabrina"I have met so many people from different places who taught me so many things," she says. "The diversity certainly made me grow as a person. I improved my leadership, critical thinking, time management and communications skills and learned how to act professionally in a work environment."

What is Work Study?

Work Study is an employment program that provides students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents with the opportunity to work on campus for a maximum of 12 or 20 hours per week (depending on which session).  The program offers a variety of jobs that help students earn additional income to help finance their education. 

What is Work Learn?

Work Learn is a wage subsidy program for undergraduate degree seeking international students who want to work on campus. Students can work a maximum of 12 or 20 hours per week (depending on which session).  The program offers a variety of jobs that help students earn additional income to help finance their education.
