The VOICE Study

Campus Community Celebration!

November 25^th, 2009, researchers presented the final results of The VOICE Study and the beginning of VOICE Study #2 to the UBC O campus community. A ‘walk-through’ display of the results and recent student-led projects was set up throughout Fipke and free hot apple cider and local, organic snacks were provided for the celebration. 

Funded by BC Medical Services Foundation and Canadian Nurses Foundation, the VOICE Study looked at increasing understanding of healthy community development. The study surveyed the campus community on their health interests and questions and provided opportunities for students, staff, faculty and administrators to partner in creating health-promoting and sustainable campus change.
