International Student Information Session

Monday, September 3rd, 2012 -10:00am to 2:00pm

 Welcome to UBC's Okanagan campus!

On Monday, September 3rd, 2012, International Programs and Services will be offering those international undergraduate students who could not attend Jump Start  a full-day information session. This session will include information regarding I-MED and MSP (medical insurance) as well as provide you with a campus tour and an opportunity to head downtown to the heart of Kelowna!

During this session, you can expect to

  • Meet other international students studying at UBC's Okanagan campus and start to build your social support network
  • Learn about the services available that will help you achieve your academic, personal, and professional goals
  • Explore downtown Kelowna and see firsthand why the Okanagan is a fantastic destination

Lunch will be provided!

  • Pre-registration for the International Student Information Session will open April 15th, 2012

Note: If you are unable to attend Jump Start or the International Student Information Session, we will be holding daily IMED/MSP (medical insurance) sessions from 2-3pm on September 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th. Throughout the month of September, we will also offer general information sessions on IMED/MSP and on-campus services. Dates: Wednesday September 12th, 19th, and 26th. Exact times and location for all information sessions to be announced.
