Late/Change of Registration

If you need to change your registration after the withdrawal dates, you can download the necessary forms or pick them up from your faculty office or Enrolment Services.

Complete all relevant sections of the necessary form and obtain the appropriate signatures; forms cannot be processed without the correct signatures. The following instructions for signatures are on the backs of the forms:

Course section action Undergraduate degree/diplomas program Graduate students Unclassified/ qualifying/ auditors
Drop Instructor + Faculty Instructor or Department Advisor + Dean of Graduate Studies Instructor
Add Instructor + Faculty Instructor or Department Advisor + Dean of Graduate Studies Instructor
Change Instructor of new section Instructor or Department Advisor + Dean of Graduate Studies Instructor of new section
Withdrawal from session Faculty Department Advisor + Dean of Graduate Studies Enrolment Services or Dean of Graduate Studies if qualifying student

Students should note that fees are assessed based on the last day of attendance. Please ensure that this section of the form is completed correctly.

Return the Change of Registration Form to your faculty office when you have obtained all the appropriate signatures. If you are auditing a course or are an unclassified student you should return the form to Enrolment Services.>

Students should check their registration on the system to ensure that the form has been processed. For refunds of overpayments, please see the UBC Calendar, Refund of Fees.
