
The Office of the Provost and Okanagan Sustainability Office provided $2,000 in sponsorship to enable 50 students to attend the Fresh Outlook Foundation's 2010 Building SustainAble Communities Conference held in Kelowna on November 15-18, 2010.
The upcoming 2012 Building SustainAble Communities Conference is being held from February 27 to March 1, 2012 at the Delta Grand Resort in Kelowna, BC.

GoBEYOND is a youth-led program, which works to educate, inspire, engage and support our peers in taking climate action at British Columbia's colleges and universities.
The Carbon Diet is a challenge to the UBC Okanagan campus community to take action on reducing their carbon footprint, learn about the effects of climate change and win prizes!
At UBC's Okanagan campus there are currently over 75 courses that directly or indirectly address sustainability. The following are several featured courses that focus on sustainability.
The Student's Union supports a variety of clubs that promote social, political, educational, artistic, recreational and cultural events on campus. These groups provide a great way for students to enrich their educational experience at UBC-Okanagan by getting involved in student life, meeting new people, and making friends with similar interests.
